Visit to the Design Museum and the Science Museum

Experiencing centrifugal force
Tomos Whelpton Year 7 writes:

On Thursday 12thJune about 45 year 7, 8 and 9 students visited the Design Museum and the Science Museum in London as a reward for good DT work.

First we went to the Design Museum and saw lots of weird, wacky and wonderful designs and inventions. Then, after a quick lunch, we started to explore the Science Museum. We passed through the Launchpad, an interactive experimental area, until five students (including me) were taken to evaluate a new game the Science Museum were creating.

In the game we had to create a simple Mars Rover to send to the mars-like terrain projected onto the wall. It was simple but fun and extremely addictive. I had a great time in all the places we visited and hope that I get go on a trip like that again.
