Year 9 historians enjoyed a tour of the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday. They were shown the state rooms and the House of Lords. They were also taken on a tour of the the Cabinet war rooms which Churchill used as his seat of command during WWII. The day gave the students the opportunity to experience a unique combination of one thousand years of history, modern day politics, and stunning art and architecture.
