Mr Verniol writes:
On Friday 16th May, 38 Year 10 students crossed the English Channel to have a very French weekend.
After a few hours shopping in the supermarket and some relaxing time on the
sunny beach, the students worked hard on vocabulary tasks until late at night. Saturday
started with a visit to the traditional market in Le Touquet, followed by a
visit to a water mill and the making of pains au chocolat. We were then very lucky to have a presentation
and a tasting session of frogs' legs and snails, before heading back to
Chailey.
We all had a great time and students were marvellous.
