Back in the summer term, a number of Chailey School students entered a competition entitled 'Police for the day' being run by Sussex Police. One hundred finalists were chosen from the whole of Sussex and these young people went to spend a day in August at the Police Headquarters - a number of them from Chailey School.
There were then five overall winnners chosen from these finalists and Alfie Baker in Year 8 was one of them! This is a huge achievement by Alfie, whose entry was in fact chosen by the Chief Constable. Alfie will now spend a day in the Police Unit of his choice.
