Ex-student visits Chailey
We are always delighted when students return to Chailey to let us know how they are getting on in the world. Today we were very pleased to welcome back Ollie Halliwell who left in 2013 after his GCSEs. He remembers his time here as "fun-loving and making amazing friends".
He joined the Royal Navy in September 2014 and completed his basic training on HMS Raleigh in Plymouth. He was then transferred to HMS Collingwood in Portsmouth for specialist training in Communications.
He is now about to go on his first tour of duty and is looking forward to an exciting career with opportunities for world travel. He recommends a career in the Royal Navy which gives, in his words, "the ability to travel and be part of an amazing team".
We wish Ollie the best of luck in his career.
