Pen Recycling is a great way of raising
money for charity and helping to recycle. I have a team of helpers who help me
collect the pens. They are: Barney Morris, Joe Shoubridge, Adam Heasman and Josh
Sharp. We are all very dedicated to bring this service to the school. We also get asked lots of questions. Here are
some answers!
Q: What happens to the pens?
A: I give them to the NSPCC, then they
sell them to a recycling company. The NSPCC get money to go to the charity and
the pens get melted for the plastic. Then they will be made into new things.
Q: How much money do the NSPCC get?
A: It is all done on the weight of the
pens. It is £1.59 per kg.
Thank you very much for donating your
old pens. If you have any old pens at home please bring them in.
