The annual Creative
Choices trip to the Theatre Royal, Brighton was, once again, full of
fascinating insight into backstage professions.
It has given us plenty of ideas for university courses to research and possible
avenues of work we had not yet considered.
Workshops included
special effects make-up, light rigging, pyrotechnic explosions, music video
filming, mask making and a tour of the fly tower, with the chance to fly a
lighting bar by hand!
