Year 8 have been making geography field trips to Ashdown Forest this week to practise their geographical field skills. The activities have included making quadrat sections to sample the vegetation, field sketching and an exploration of the Forest looking at the environmental features.
A Ranger gave them a talk about the history of Ashdown Forest and how it is now maintained.
They have all enjoyed the experience and have learned a lot about the local area.
